Camarillo Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man who allegedly poured lighter fluid on his dog and set it on fire. The dog was a 3 year old basset hound named Buddy who certainly didn’t deserve the treatment his owner Andrew Delgado gave him on October 27, 2012. Police arrested Delgado for arson and animal cruelty. He faces up to 3 years in prison and registration as an arson offender. Delgado is due in court on November 13 of this year. Lakers Devin Ebanks Arrested for DUI and Out on Bail

The Los Angeles Lakers’ Devin Ebanks was arrested yesterday for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol in Hollywood, California. Officers with the California Highway Patrol arrested him shortly before 3:00 a.m. and booked him for the crime. Ebanks posted bail and was released with a date to appear in court in early December. Actor Michael Nouri of Flashdance fame was arrested yesterday for domestic battery and other charges. Police in Beverly Hills, California were called to a residence on North Palm Drive after a 911 call was made. Police arrived and arrested Nouri for domestic battery, false imprisonment and obstructing the use of a wireless device. Grand Theft is Driving Sheriffs and Business Owners Nuts

120,000 pounds of walnuts have disappeared in two separate thefts. Tehama County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating two separate heists by possible “imposter” truck drivers. The first theft involved 40,000 pounds of walnuts and the second was double that amount. In total this is $450,000 worth of nuts. The sheriffs do have a suspect who is described as a tall white mail with a strong Russian accent driving a white tractor trailer. LA County John Noguez Will Stay in Jail – Bail Set at $1.16 Million Dollars

Los Angeles County Assessor John Noguez was arrested about 6 days ago after authorities suspected he was taking bribes in exchange for lowering peoples property taxes. A six year probation officer was arrested Tuesday on allegations of filing nine fraudulent workers’ compensation claims over the last three years. Rochelle Williams, 35 is accused in 27 felony counts of forging medical records and other documents. She works as a Los Angeles probation officer and is responsible for placing minors in foster homes and other facilities. Williams is being accused of filing workers comp claims while she continued working so she could be paid both her regular salary and money from the state insurance program. Levi Aron, 37, was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to kidnapping, killing and dismembering an 8 year old boy in a tight-knit Orthodox Jewish community in Brooklyn.
