Two LAX Workers Arrested for Explosive Devices

Two Los Angeles International Airport workers were arrested within two days of each other after several dry ice bombs reportedly exploded at locations inside the airport property. First arrested was Dicarlo Bennett a ground service worker for a company called Servisair. Two days later, Bennett’s own supervisor, Miguel Angel Iniguez, was arrested. Bennett was arrested for actually blowing up the so called “dry-ice” bombs, while Iniguez was arrested after a suspected dry ice bomb was recovered without exploding. A task force of Federal Agents and Sheriff’s Deputies set out on a quest to bust illegal sales of nitrous oxide in a 15 month investigation. The results were ten arrests and the seizure of 13 guns, several magazines and some illegal ammunition. Macho Camacho Dead at Age 50

Hector “Macho” Camacho is dead after being taken off of life support at age 50. Camacho was shot multiple times in his homeland of Puerto Rico. He and his lifelong friend were both shot outside a nightclub near the town in which they grew up. Camacho’s friend, Alberto Mojica was shot and killed as well. Largest Meth bust in the Merced

Members of the Merced Multi-Agency narcotics Task Force arrested 11 people , seized 330 pounds of Methamphetamine, more than $100,00 cash and three vehicles during a raid that took place in Merced, CA. The investigation began in April with the purchase of one pound of Meth. Merced County District Attorney, Larry Morse said the street value of the meth is estimated to be more than $9 million.

Police Investigation Yields 33 arrests in Gang Sweep

A yearlong police investigation targeting the Eastside Anaheim gang resulted in 33 arrests of various criminal activities including drug trafficking and possession of firearms. Anaheim has seen a rise in police shootings this year and attribute the violence to gang activity. The Black Sabbath Motorcycle Club President was killed in a drive by shooting late Friday night. Clyde Major Thompson Jr., also known as Wild Dogg, 51, was repairing a motorcycle at the club’s San Diego clubhouse, when he was gunned down. U.S. Supreme Court Says Gun Ownership is a Right Under the Second Amendment

In recent the case of McDonald v. Chicago, the United States Supreme Court voted 5 to 4 saying that the Second Amendment does in fact protect our right to keep and bear arms.  The Court was overturning the City of Chicago’s laws restricting one’s right to own certain guns and banning the possession of all handguns. Suspected Urban Terrorists Arrested in Hemet

Hemet, California Police announced the arrests of two men on Saturday in connection with the recent urban terrorism against the City of Hemet and the Hemet, California Police Department.  A joint task for of city, county and federal law enforcement arrested Nicholas Smit of Hemet, and Steven Hansen of Homeland, California.  Smit was arrested for attempted murder of a police officer and other charges.  Hansen is said to be a convicted arsonist who was arrested for a parole violation. Suspected Shooter at Valley Restaurant Arrested

Nerses Galstyan, the suspected April 3rd shooter at the Hot Spot Restaurant in Valley Village was arrested yesterday without incident.  He was apprehended by a federal fugitive task force in the State of Washington.  Galstyan is suspected of shooting 6 men, 4 of whom were mortally wounded. After the shooting, Galstyan was indicted by a federal grand jury on weapons charges including dealing firearms without a license.  He is alleged to have participated in the sale of firearms to an informant working for the Federal Alcohol, Tobacco,  Firearms and Explosives Agency.

Probation for Three Pounds of Cocaine, two loaded guns and one pound of Marijuana

I just came from court in Burbank where I achieved a fantastic settlement for JC.  JC was pulled over and found to have several thousand dollars in cash and 26 baggies of cocaine in his car.  There were also four cellular phones with one wringing off the hook.
