Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has been charged with domestic violence and vandalism in Los Angeles City after he was allegedly involved in an argument with an ex-girlfriend who is described as the mother of a child of Jackson’s. In a statement by the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, they describe Jackson as having broken chandeliers in the woman’s home, kicked in a door and kicked the woman, causing injury to her and her property. Chris Brown was just charged with hit and run and driving without a valid license after he crashed his Range Rover into a Mercedes in the Toluca Lake area of the San Fernando Valley. Ventura Man Arrested for Marijuana Cultivation…Again

The threat of jail and deportation was not enough to deter Ricardo Valencia from allegedly tending to over 6,000 marijuana plants shortly after his conviction and deportation for similar conduct. Valencia, 36 was being investigated by Ventura County law enforcement based on his prior conduct. A search warrant execution yielded $5,000 in cash, two firearms and various other indicia of marijuana cultivation. A 21 year old man was arrested for allegedly beating a Barista from a local Los Angeles restaurant. The twist here is that the severely beaten victim was said to be a transgender individual who was the target of a hate crime. A 32 year old (former) father was arrested yesterday after his one year old infant died at a local hospital as a result of head and neck injuries. Young Immigrants Held In Adult Jails for Months A recent report from the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office (ICE) stated that over 1,300 juveniles were held in adult immigration detention facilities for days and some for months. Federal regulations require that juveniles be transferred out of adult prison facilities within 72 hours. In a brief interview with a Spanish language television station this weekend, Mayor elect Eric Garcetti voiced his opinion that medical marijuana is ok and that casual use of marijuana might not be so bad either.
