The only thing Ventura County Law Enforcement likes less than crime is crime committed by people from out of the county. Simi Valley police arrested a 40 year old man from Los Angeles County earlier today after he was caught in possession of ecstasy and suspected of selling the illegal drug.
After arresting Chen, officers with both the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department and The Simi Valley Police executed a search warrant at Chen’s Rowland Heights home. Police recovered additional drugs at the home as well as in his car.
Chen is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail and will likely go before a judge on Monday afternoon. He was booked at the Ventura County Main Jail.
