JR was charged with one count of grand theft after she (allegedly) stole over $9,000.00 from a local grocery store where she worked as a book- keeper. She made a full confession to the theft after she was arrested.
The District Attorney took a hard line on this case and offered JR 180 days in jail if she paid back all the money.
Today was sentencing day for JR: Result: 30 days of community service. That's what I call a good day.
