Another newsworthy victory came down today: FC was charged with his second felony theft offense. He was only on probation for about four months when he picked up the new case. The probation department recommended a state prison sentence for twenty year old FC. The District Attorney also sought a state prison sentence. Mr. Vallens was able to negotiate probation with no jail and 45 days of work service. Did we mention that FC is not a U.S. citizen? Mr. Vallens really gave FC a second chance.
Mr. Vallens reaches a fantastic settlement in Metropolitan Division. A.S. was a .24 blood alcohol and facing his second DUI. Mr. Vallens did his usual thorough investigation and knew the prosecutor would have a problem producing one of his civilian witnesses. After answering ready for trial, Mr. Vallens settled A.S.'s case for the reduced offense of exhibition of speed. This is a non-alcohol related, non-priorable offense.
