Attorney Jeffrey S. Vallens

We are criminal defense and DUI defense attorneys located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. Mr. Vallens has been practicing criminal and DUI defense for over fourteen years. He works in all courts in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties and as needed in other locations at the request of his clients.

We strive to give each of our clients the time and attention that they need to properly and effectively handle each and every case we undertake. Because of this, we are not able to represent every client that calls the office.

Our office handles a variety of different criminal offenses from driving offenses to serious and violent felonies. No case is too small and no case is too large.

We pride ourselves on effective preparation and investigation of each and every case we undertake. Our office works with a variety of expert witnesses and investigators. Our chief investigator, Donald Tabak, is a retired robbery/homicide investigator with the Los Angeles Police Department. Mr. Tabak retired from LAPD after a distinguished career. He now dedicates himself to criminal defense investigation just as he did when he worked for LAPD. We also utilize other investigators including our Northern California specialist C.W. Sellers, Spanish speaking investigators as needed, and a variety of expert witnesses when appropriate. A great lawyer knows to surround himself with great staff.

Jeffrey Vallens was born and raised in Southern California. He earned a bachelor's degree in English from the University of California before going on to law school at the University of LaVerne (Forbes Magazine Top 100) and launching a successful career as a criminal defense attorney.

Mr. Vallens is licensed to practice before the California Supreme Court (all courts in California) as well as The United States Supreme Court, 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and The U.S. Court of Military Appeals.

Mr. Vallens has been practicing criminal defense and DUI defense since 1996. He practices mainly in Southern California, however his practice takes him where his clients need him. Attorney Ross Erlich

Attorney Ross Erlich has been practicing criminal law since his admission to the Bar and works in all courts located in Southern California. Mr. Erlich handles all cases ranging from DUI and other misdemeanors to major felonies. Ross' experience emphasizes complicated criminal matters including bail, probation violations and other complex white collar matters.

After a brief stint in Northern California where he graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, Ross decided to come back to his native Southern California to attend law school. In school, he supported himself with work on various political campaigns and doing criminal defense. This wide range of experience taught Ross not only how to negotiate with others, but, when it is needed, how to stand up and fight for himself and his client's rights. Helping politicians get elected also has it's benefits.

Ross was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and utilizes his ties to the community to better serve his clients. He is a member of the Los Angeles County, Beverly Hills and San Fernando Valley Bar Associations. He also serves as the Treasurer of the San Fernando Valley Young Democrats and has been on the Executive Board for over 5 years. Ross is also a founding member of the New Beverly Hills II Chapter of an international business networking group called ProVisers www.provisors.com.
